The problem: Spam Tweets

These usually come interspersed within a "Feed Reposter" account which will auto-post links to articles from somebody else's RSS feed.

The solution: Twitter's "report for spam" feature

Make it so you won't see any of the tweets from a single spammer.

The problems with the solution:

1. That only blocks one spammer.

   Many twitter spam networks have hundreds of accounts set up to spam on their behalf. They all send the same spam messages, with the exception of a "referral" tag in the URL.

2. you might block a legitimate user who unwittingly retweeted a spam tweet.

   Wouldn't it be better if a user could recieve a warning to be more careful about what they retweet instead of being blocked outright?
